Draw a 'C' hand down the center of your chest, tracing the path food takes.
Where the sign comes from
IconicThe sign visibly depicts its meaning — a present-day resemblance, not a historical claim.
The C-hand traces the throat and stomach — the empty channel food travels. The same sign made higher can mean WISH/CRAVE.
